I painted these up yesterday. I am not the biggest fan of Navwar's WWII line. They are OK miniatures, but I think that other companies have better sculpts. Now I cannot say that about the modern line. Navwar makes some very nice modern aircraft. I have recently painted their Dassault F.1 and now the Jaguars. I have F-14s and A-6s to paint soon. Of all of them, the A-6 is the worst, though once I get it painted. The A-6 will look fine. I used this photo as a reference. I painted these Jaguars using Vallejo and Model Master paints. The lower was painted with Model Master Sterling Silver Metallic. The upper was painted with Vallejo Dark Blue Grey and Gunship Green link
Here are the finished miniatures.

Very nice. Is the Jaguar still in service? From all information I have it has been retired correct? |

The aircraft served as one of the French Air Force's main strike/attack aircraft until 1 July 2005 (when it was replaced by Dassault Rafale) and with the Royal Air Force until the end of April 2007. I believe that India and Oman still use the Jaguar. I plan on using them for a cold war going hot. Mike |
