Ok, so PI Industries CLEARLY makes the best SF minis out there to date. Since we have that established ;-) lets move on to what WE think they should do next! Heres my short wish list: 1) "Rebel" Command, specialists, and expanded infantry packs. 2) A line of support guns (mortars, anti-tank, anti-mech, etc
) and crews for both the "Militia" and "Heavy Infantry" lines. 3) A resin "Dropship" or "Gunship". 4) Feral Command and additional infantry packs. 5) BIG guns (siege mortars, 203mm tracked arty, etc
) and crews. |

"Ok, so PI Industries CLEARLY makes the best SF minis out there to date" I once thought they needed to do 15mm. Well, they no longer need apply. CMG's ARC Fleet Light Recon Troopers (AFLR 1, AFLR 2, AFLR 3 and AFLR 4) have filled the PI slot nicely for 15mm. link picture picture TMP link Life is good!!! Dan |

"Ok, so PI Industries CLEARLY makes the best SF minis out there to date." I think a number of people here would dispute that. GZG takes a lot of beating. |

I'd like them to flesh out the Heavy Infantry lines more. They seem to have 37 flavours of kolony troops but its the Heavy Infantry that I really like. Snipers, scouts, assault troops, different poses etc. |

Hi lads, Thanks for the great comments. As for us being the best, well, thats up for debate but we try and do stuff thats pretty cool. I'm sooo close to showing you some new Kolony rebels – a bit more painting and it will be up on the site. Plus, there's some completely new stuff literally days away from being previewed. The reason the Kolony stuff is getting a lot of love is that we want to build a set of factions that can be expanded into fluff and rules. There's been a lot of background work and play testing being done to build up something credible to fit with our ranges. I'm not saying that rules are just round the corner but its where everything is aiming. As always, everything takes ages as I have a day (proper) job as well Must go – lots to do over the coming months. Si |

so no new HI stuff on the horizon then? :( |

Good to hear. I'd like to see some sort of "technical" for the Kolony rebels, either wheeled or tracked. |

I'd like to see the other specialist/special weapon packs combined so that its possible to buy a single pack and get one of each weapon like you can with the Ferals. What else I'd like to see: -Feral Command Group -Feral/Militia Close-Combat -Light Infantry -Grenade Launcher figures -A head sprue that consists of just the Heavy Infanty "capped" heads |

"Grenade Launcher figures' Yes indeed! |

Heavy power armor minus all the skulls and do dads that GW puts on theirs. |

Powered armor. Must
Have
Powered Armor. |

1) The long overdue "Rebel" Command, specialists, and expanded infantry packs. That's it. Pretty short list, really. |

Sort of. In close up pics it looks more like carapace (heavy body) armor, but not "powered armor". link |

The System Infantry look great and I look forward to where that line goes. That said, I too would like to see some love given to the Heavy Infantry line. And another vote for some powered armor! A rules set is something to look forward too as well, but as long as PI keeps kicking out cool minis, I'm happy! |
kaydet | 30 Nov 2009 12:51 a.m. PST |
Am definitely looking forward to an expansion on the system infantry. Looks great! |
Stoss55 | 30 Nov 2009 6:30 p.m. PST |
okay so first im goin to say how much i like the new system troops. and now for my wish list (in some sort of order) 1) more Heavy Infantry (please? they are my favorite) 2) see above. its that important to me :D 3) Powered armor for the major factions. i dont think rebels and ferals would really have too much access to them 4) expanding the wardroid range would be nice. maybe some more weapons options and a couple different classes of wardroids (lights, heavies, UAVs, etc.) 5) expanding the vehicle range would be great 6) close assault troops would be nice, again, for the major factions. and i dont mean sword and pistol troopers, i mean shotguns and SMGs. 7) a Grenade Launcher special weapon would be awesome. 8) not really a new figure, but re-structuring the figure packs (especially some of the special weapon packs) would be nice, so that you dont end up with figures you dont want/need (i like alot of SAWs, but flamers not so much, for example) edit: oh! 9) more platoon packs :D |

Dear Pig Iron, Whatever you do, could you find some way to include a pack with head sprues that have heads with Gas Masks and hair? Right now, all the gas-masked heads are either cloaked under a helmet or cap, or strangely bald. I'm sure there could be some "fluff" explaination regarding chemical damage or somesuch, but for those of us using your heads to customize other figs, it's probably the last large omission. I now have Helmeted, Covered helmeted, and Officer caps for my troopers but any fig without headgear (Kolony Rebel heads) is hairless. Other than that, keep up the good work, I'm sure whatever you decide to release will be awesome! |
