Starting a zombie campaign game and I'm looking for survivor miniatures. I've decided to go with Wargames factory for the zombies, lots of zombies for not a lot of cash. But I'm having trouble finding good looking survivors, Thanks in advance. Almost forgot, 28mm.

Hasslefree has the best. Zombiesmith has survivors and their zombified counterparts.

Westwind has some nice civilain survivors and cops and plain clothes detectives in their Roadkill Range

For a guy that says in his original post he is going with the plastic stuff cause it is cheap I don't think Hasslefree is the company for him. ALthough he may want to splurge on the survivors since you don't need all that many. Westwind is probably more in his budget through Old GLory and the army card.

Hasslefree has a very good range. Kev is a great guy to talk with about the excellent figures he sculpts .Same goes for the people at Westwind,Heresy and Black Scorpion. You can find plenty of the right figures from these.
Id go for the metal figs for the survivors and maybe think about cheaper for a large number of zombies.
Geoff and Dani.

EM4's plastic sets are pretty cheap and can make some nice figures:

You could also go with their metal figures.

The plastic figures from the game Last Night On Earth are available and are also pretty nice:

The Last Night On Earth entry at Boardgame Geek has some pictures of them painted up:

I may have some extra figure laying around I could pass on too.

Depends on how serious of game you're running. I've been trying to find excuses to use these gems:

And this is a more serious one:

Wow, thanks everyone, some really great responses. I don't mind spending a few bucks on humans, I went ahead and got a blister of foundry mercenary figs, good looking minis but some of them look too tuff for run of the mill survivors.
I really like the westwind models, great price too. Thanks again, Ill try to get some pics up of the campaign once I get started. I've decided to use the ATZ rules, I like the solo/coop play ablity.

Here is a write up of the game that got me into zombies:

I have not bought any alphaforge yet but black cat bases I highly recommend.
