First off new to Napoleonic and 15mm, so hope my questions are not to stupid. I've got my order in for Lasalle and decided on 15mm Battle Honor for figures and bases(that order goes in next paycheck). The recommended basing for infantry and cavalry is 1.5"x1" and artillery and limbers the same width of 1.5". I've already decided to use the recommended for cavalry and 1.5"x0.5" for the infantry(to save on model count for cost and painting time). I can always just double up the infantry stands later to get the recommended size if need be. So my questions are these. 1. Will 1.5"x1" be deep enough for artillery from Battle Honor? 2. How deep of base will I need to fit limbers on from Battle Honor? 3. What other Napoleonic rule sets use the same basing? infantry 1.5"x.5"/cavalry 1.5"x1"? Thanks |

Shifter, I use AB for my arty on 1.5" deep stands. They are a little tight, but OK. I think BH should be the same. On the limber question, I use AB four horse limbers. How many horses on the BH? Also do you want the gun to hang off the limber base when limbered or do you want to have a space for it? These factors determine what you will need for limber stand depth. Mark |

Hi I've got some Battle Honors Guns (along with AB and Essex ones as well) and they all fit on a 1.5 inch stand OK. I use 2 horse limbers on 1.5 inch front by 2 inch long stands. If you want to use 4 horses then add another inch in length. Good luck and hope you enjoy the Napoleonic period. regards Max |

Shifter, There are AB Lasalle unit packs available from Eureka Miniatures USA & Eureka Miniatures Australia. In accord with Honour Publishing, we are offering a range of Unit Packs made up of AB figures & Eureka Miniatures specifically tailored for use with these rules. cheers, rob eureka miniatures usa |

@foot soldier Well, I have been looking at the artillery/limber and cavalry unit packs you have. At this time going to pass on the infantry unit pack, since I'm basing 16 to a unit not 32. Once Sam gets part 2 of the Honor series done Blucher(each stand a battalion) I'll be all over AB for infantry command groups. |

Shifter, As the AB figures are sold individually you can always just make up your own units of 16. The units of 32 were Sam's recommendation. cheers, rob eureka miniatures usa
