Hello. I play Flames of War and enjoy balanced tournament-style games, but I would like to play through some more historical scenarios. The FoW site has a few good historial scenarios (with the Mortain campaign as a nice example) but I want more! Does anyone know of a good resource for post-D-Day, western European, company-level game scenarios? I would be happy to buy a book if such a thing exists.

Bonus points if the scenarios feature Canadian 3rd Division vs. 12th SS :)

Not company level, but you could distill plenty of ideas from the scenarios page at fireandfury.com

Read "Holding Juno" by Mark Zuelhke. Lots of good scenario ideas there.

I have Holding Juno and Terrible Victory, both of which are great. If something already exists that has nicely laid out, discrete battles with simple maps and clear orbats, though, I'd rather use somebody else's work than put in a bunch of my own.

The Fire and Fury scenarios look really good, thanks for the tip!

The ASL scenario adapt quite well to the FOW system. You may find many interesting things there if you can read the ASL type of scenarios (not that hard)

I've played an ASL scenario with FoW, can't for the life of me remember which one, it was years ago. Made for a very good game, and a pleasant change from the usual comp style game.

I recall we needed to tweak some of the deployments as we used a 6x4 table (one for Sicily).

Try reading Freineux and Lamormenil by George J. Winter. Its a description of a battle between 3AD units and members of the 2SS during The Battle of the Ardennes. It includes maps and organizations of the combatants down to the platoon level.

You could also maybe scale up the Skirmish Campaigns scenarios?

they do quite a few NWE books and include options for conversion to FOW on the website.

The TFL scenario books for IABSM are specifically aimed at company level actions. Highly recommended.

Read "Terrible Victory" by Mark Zuelhke. Also lots of good scenario ideas there.
You might also look for a series of five books by Robert Vogel and Terry Copp. The series is called the "Maple Leaf Route". Also a book called "The Long Left Flank" by Jeffery Williams and "Tug of War" by Dennis Whitaker are great sources. Whitaker also did a book called Rhineland which is excellent as well but deals with a later period than Normandy. Finally the official Canadian history of WWII by C.P. Stacy (Spelling?) is good.
