I was given a batch of plastic toy animals – mostly dinosaurs – as a joke birthday gift a few months back; they're too small to really use in 28mm pulp games, but they've been sitting on one corner of my desk needing something done with them…

Mounted on scraps of foam and a CD, painted dark green, covered in white glue and then dark flock, with lighter flock and gravel on the base – quick park and garden decoration with a pulpish flavour!

I've got a plastic rhino from the same set that'll probably get the same treatment soon, too.

That is a pretty good idea. Topiaries are awesome.

Thank you for sharing that – would go well in a formal garden in a large manor for pulp games.

Not sure if it would work for SciFi but love it all the same grin

Did a topiary rhino to go along with the dinosaurs, and shot another pic of the dinos too, just for the heck of it.

The rhino is on a smaller base, not a CD this time.

In the book "the Shining", the topiary anumals came to life!
