I just got my order of SL and I am pleasantly surprised. Each box set has around 22 minis with NO duplicates! The casting is very good, only took about 10 minutes to clean up around 50 minis (including getting them stuck on my paint sticks). My question is with the great detail, should I use Gesso (have been using it on my 25s) or spray them?

I have no problems using gesso on 15's,have been doing it for years.

Gesso works fine right out of the bottle on them. Just make sure the gesso doesn't web between narrow openings, if that makes sense. I blow on those spots while the mini is drying to make sure, still it does happen.

SLM website has just been redesigned, and there's a lkot of new minis. I started a new thread about it.
