I've never had any sculpting work commissioned and was wondering what it would cost to have a 28mm head sculpted.

Specifically, I'm looking for a head for a "Bender" robot from Futurama. I'll supply the body.

Also, can anyone recommend someone? Preferably a nice compromise between quality and price.

Shouldn't be too hard to do:

Head is shaped like a medicine capsule, with an antenna sticking from the top.

Who would have Bender tattooed on their back?!? You'll have to click the link above to see.

If you place the tattoo just right, and add the phrase "kiss my shiny metal ______" . . .

I picked up a pretty nice "not-bender" at Origins this year for $5, I think it was from the ArmorCast booth…

…she can have anything she wants on her back…

What body are you supplying?

Mardaddy,

Amen, bro.

I'd be *real* surprised if that's a permanent tattoo on Ms. Bender-Back. I'm betting it's either temporary, or, more likely, Photoshop.

Not that I'm complaining, mind . . .

The girl poster is a fake…I saw that photo before without the bender tat.

Depending on the shipping distance I would do the bender head.

I am interested in the bender body choice.

This one.

It will require some modifications, though. It's also a bit tall. By the time a head is added, it will come in just a little over your average 28-30mm mini. The "real" Bender on the other hand is on the short side.

@jfleisher
If you could provide any more info, I'd appreciate it. I couldn't find it.

I don't see him on their website, and he was sold in a ziplock bag with no markings…

Here's a picture…

It's con-only. Next year hedonism bot and the cross-dressing robot are supposed to make an appearance.

It's con-only

Why is it minis companies punish those of us that can't attend a con when we should be getting consolation prizes.

The closest con to me is almost 2 hours away. It's only about 4 years old and is still very small. I've only ever seen a few small time companies there.
