I'll confess that it is a bit OTT – we decided to pack four battles and a month's worth of fighting into a single game as a sort of 'show-piece' for the period. I also made a mistake in grading the terrain visibility – it should have been much more severe, which would have prevented the unhistorical long-range tank gun and ATGM duels that resulted in the unrealistically high degree of KO'd South African AFVs
But we had fun

No, they're based for my Cold War mod of 'Battlefront: WWII' (Fire & Fury Games – fireandfury.com ). Each infantry base is 25-30mm square with 2-3 figures and represents a section/squad of 6-12 men. Each vehicle or heavy weapon is representative of 2-3 actual items. |
