Not really a biplane but I have seen a Skytex advert in one of the Wargames Mags for a 1:144 scale Zeppelin only 42" long and £195.Very tasty but have been told by her indoors to forget it.

This one is 1/245 but it's still 39 inches long! It would work IMHO! $80 USD can't be beat!

I´ve seen an example of the model at Fiasco in Leeds some weeks ago. Indeed, very imposing, and would look marvellous if decently painted.

Of course, you could always build your own out of paper (requires quite some work to get it stable, and the shape´s a bit tricky) or XPS. The 195 quid will save you a LOT of work (built a number of Zeps from scratch), but you´ll have to decide if it´s really worth it.

That is impressive… size does matter.

Our buddy Chuck made our club one out of printed paper glued to either side of a foamboard core. It features in this old TMP thread. TMP link
