Gentlemen, I am dotting the "i" and crossing the "t" of my Austrian army. One final order will complete the collection, but is a collection ever really complete? Photos are included with a current order of battle. Thank you for looking, Cheers, Robert 18thcenturysojourn.blogspot.com |

Very nice – especially the Frontier force! |

Those are great looking figures. And the scalloped hat lacing was definitely worth the effort. |

Frederick and SJDonovan, thank you for the compliments. This was labeled a frontier force, as the ratio of Grenzers, Hungarians and Hussars were high in relation to German line, Dragoons and Cuirassiers. This, originally reflected the composition of troops led by Beck, Macquire, Loudon and others in the petite guerre. This certainly dovetailed well our needs for the first phase of our Bohemian Campaign 1757. As I add more German Line, Dragoons and Cuirassiers, this will eventually resemble the standard order of battle for an Austrian army. After completion of phase two or le petite guerre, we will advance the clock to 19 June 1757 and continue phase three; Nadasty's pursuit of Frederick's second column. cheers, Robert |
