I agree it's a good review of a good, and potentially very good, game. Except that I would have given it 5/10 for clarity, and only because I'm a generous person. I read the rules several times before playing it, and I was out at sea on some key issues. Thankfully, my opponent had some experience with TW&T, so it all went very well. Had he been just as inexperienced, or had either of us been the eponymous TW&T, it wouldn't have. It's certainly helpful if the authors of rules are available for answering questions. But it's even more helpful if rules are written in such a way that their assistance isn't necessary in the first place. |

The only bit that threw me was the 'units get three dice' idea. If you replace that with 'Initiative points' it all clicked for me. |
