Hi gang,

Did a bit of googling without much success.
I'm looking for pics/references for all the
above mentioned troops that i could use for
french colonial troops in Lebanon and Africa
during early ww2.

What scales are you doing?

Plenty of figures available in 20mm

Try Googling – Army of Levant, tirailleurs marocains, tirailleurs senegalaise, tirailleurs algerian, tirailleurs tunisiens, spahis marocains – literally hundreds of pics under any and all of these……….

I know this is Wiki, but its a good starting point -

I guess it will depend on the scale you are using. If you are using 20mm or smaller, there are plenty of substitute figures which will work in a pinch. If you are looking for 25/28mm figures you may have your work cut out for you as they make uniform substitutes, but the kit and weapons are very different.
