I think you might have to be a little bit more specific when you say 'Classical Indians'. -'Indians' from India? -North American Indians? What tribe(s)? What time frame/era?(There is a lot of tribe variation
Sioux, Seminole, Upper Creek, Lower Creek, and etc. Also differences in equipment based on era
1492, 1600's, AWI, Sem Wars, ACW, post-ACW, and etc.) -South American Indians? ditto? -I'm sure I'm missing some and others will fill in the blanks. |

Looking at the posters name and taking WRG as a reference – Classical Indians are Indians from India. Not native Americans. 'Classical' denoting from the general classical period of ancients. DBM lists 500 to 170BC. Plenty of elephants and turbans. However, apart from the usual WRG book, I've got no other source recommendations. Si |

Hi Barry, I'm struggling to think of other source material, too. But I can show you the WRG book. Cheers, Simon |

Barry Two other options: link link They may have some gems/ideas and other references. Certainly Jeff Jonas' site is an excellent source. Nice elephant by the way. Cheers Garry |

The WAB Alexander the Great supplement has a nice section on them; strangely reminiscent of Jeff Jonas' site BTW. I was thinking about building a similar army and adding vimanas. |
