Me – don't know what day yet. Depends on when my brother and sister-in-law-to-be want to go to the re-encators fair on the same weekend. Must admit I'd forgotten it was this coming weekend until someone mentioned it at our game on Sunday!
As for purchases I've not got a list yet but will sit and think about it soon.

Stronty Girl Fezian17 Nov 2009 10:40 a.m. PST

I shall be meeting up with some mates there on the Sat (if all goes according to plan).

What am I looking to buy? All of it! Or at least as much as I can carry! grin

Seriously, I'm after Xmas prezzies for a few friends, and will no doubt buy lots of stuff for me as well.

Richard Humm17 Nov 2009 11:11 a.m. PST

I'll be there on Saturday. I think Ground Zero Games will be getting a few quid from me…

dampfpanzerwagon Fezian17 Nov 2009 12:41 p.m. PST

My plan is to be there on the Saturday. Top of my list to buy are the new Morris Men from Gripping Beast. Don't ask!

Hopefully there on Saturday, spending money at Peter Pig AK47 figures and Pendraken WW1 British, but who knows what else might catch my eye?

Sunday.

I need to bite the bullet and buy £40.00 GBP of rubber dirt tracks having found more pressing things to buy at the last two shows. I'm getting Future War Commander for my epic 40k collection.

Advice: good burgers from the van outside, rubbish burgers from the canteen inside.

Jamespjnz17 Nov 2009 6:52 p.m. PST

Will be going, just looking for a few bits and peices to finish off a few prodjects.

IUsedToBeSomeone18 Nov 2009 2:34 a.m. PST

I'll be there trading as usual.

I understand from the organisers that the canteen inside won't be open, but the burger van outside will be.

Two days on the QRF stand for me this weekend. Usually one of our busiest weekends of the year. Hopefully I'll get a bit of time to look around the other stands and catch up with a few old friends too.

Big Martin18 Nov 2009 6:11 a.m. PST

Going Sunday following discussion last night. Still not got a list, though.

Guthroth18 Nov 2009 6:18 a.m. PST

I'll be there with Staines Wargamers. We are doing a HoTT participation game based on the 1950's Sci-Fi flim 'Them!'

If you have 45 mins to spare, come and have a go.

No idea what I will be buying, but I always end up with something …

Crikey – hadn't heard of these, but as I perform in a Mummers Play every Boxing Day and own a tatter jacket like the one worn by the guy on the hobby horse, these are going to be a must-buy for me too.

Thanks for the heads up Tony

Taking the opportunity for a gratuitous plug I will be there to deliver copies of our new magazine, The Ancible (what do you mean you don't look at the Hobby News!?) to Graham at Simple Games so they can go straight on sale.

If you are into Fantasy or Sci-Fi then we'd be delighted if you'd take a look and see what you think. :)

Paint it Pink18 Nov 2009 1:15 p.m. PST

I'd missed the fact that QRF was going as well to Warfare, another must stop and buy stuff stand for me.

Cornelius18 Nov 2009 2:07 p.m. PST

The pub over the bridge is usually fairly empty, does good cheap food (burgers included) and comely staff. However, having lost my job this year and therefore needing to be careful with money Ill not be going this time.

GeoffQRF18 Nov 2009 2:13 p.m. PST

We should have our new 'QRF Models' banner up, so we will be a litle easier to spot!

StaffordGames19 Nov 2009 3:19 a.m. PST

We will be there with the new Wings of War WWII Deluxe Set (and WWI Deluxe Sets as well)!

Roland

Lord Flashheart19 Nov 2009 3:58 a.m. PST

Will be there on the Saturday. No list in mind as such, apart from possibly the new AK47 rules so anything else i pick up will be spur of the moment i think.

legatushedlius19 Nov 2009 9:39 a.m. PST

Great, the Met office is telling us not to drive on Saturday due to 70mph winds..

StaffordGames19 Nov 2009 12:11 p.m. PST

That should be fun in a high sided van!

Elder son Von Stuckenhausen is staying at home to finish school coursework and look after Lady Von Trinkenessen and Princess Von Trinkenessen, who has finally had her swine flu vaccination so the four month lockdown is over!!

Khazarmac20 Nov 2009 11:57 a.m. PST

Will be there on Saturday. Am helping run a demo game of the battle of Chotusitz in the War of the Austrian Succession, in 15mm using Piquet Field of Battle. I will also be spending gratuitous amounts, 'cos it's what you have to do at shows like this!
