Dear Fellow TMPers

I'm interested in buying into 6mm Napoleonice, but I'd like to concentrate on a ratio of 1 stand = 1 company, or at most a battalion. I've played a number of 6mm games where this smallest unit is a brigade and I found this ok but a bit inflexible.

Can any of you learned types recommend a decent set of Napoleonic rules that would accomdate my plans?

Thanks

M

I assume this isn't a naval game you're talking about.

Most rules nowadays aren't specific to any figure size. But it sounds like you're talking about a petit-tactical game, so allow me to flog my latest:

You will also get recommendations for Black Powder, the upcoming Barry Hilton game, and possibly even Foundry's Napoleon, all of which are in the scale you're talking about.

Le Feu Sacre works for 6mm.

In the Name of Glory (Free)

There will be others…

How about Shako 2? Multi-stand units, which are usually battalions.

Maybe Napoleonic Principles of War?

both work fine in 6mm.

Thanks fellas

Isn't there a Fire & Fury version for Nappy?

Mikasa, perhaps it would be a good idea to ask Bill to move this thread to the right board. You might get more responses.

Age of Eagles is the Fire and Fury version. Each unit is a brigade, one stand equals 360 men. 6mm would give the units a great massed look.

Polemos from Baccus is written for 6mm. Each stand is a battalion.

Thanks Bill and the rest of you too.

Not quite sure why this ended up in naval but I can't believe it has anything to do with me :-)

I have enough to go on so no need to move the thread.

Thanks Again
