Great to see you get the kids into a game like this. Looked like they were having a good time.

Nice looking game…1:72 I would guess, plastic models? They look great.

Good job likewise in the recruiting department. Those youngsters will be outrolling you for years to come.

We used 1/72nd plastic kits.

That way the kids got to make models as well.

the rules are from junior general.

The kids can run the games themselves now, and the parents often keep playing after the kids finish up (Although the kids played for 4 hours in the November game.)

Bravo. I'm inspired. I need to run a junior game with a painting session to start it; then flights/fights with those custom-painted machines. Think I'll prep them with a scene from a good dogfight movie…blue max, maybe? Any other suggestions for a 5minute primer before the game?

I haven't seen Blue Max since I was a kid, about 25 years ago

Recently rewatched Blue Max. It hasn't aged too badly. The flight-fight sequences are SLOW! Slower than they should be. Waldo Pepper is better: the planes actually have the right amount of power (of course, no shooting, which is a bummer)….
