Here are a few of the Kaiyodo 'Dinotales' models with some 20mm figures. The original series was made to fit the packaging instead of a constant scale. It happens that many of the 'medium-sized' dinos fit in well with 20mm figures and vehicles. The largest sauropod models(not shown) are likely matches for 10-15mm and the smaller animals might be useful for 28mm. The dinos are snap-together kits that all measure around 3-4". The series is long OOP, but many are still available on ebay, etc.

I've always thought these were too small to use for 1/72, but your pics are very helpful.

some are too small, but others are fine. I think the two Allosaurs are pretty much 1/72, along with the iguanadon

Thanks for the tip and photos. I think small beats too big. Small beasties can be younger ones or runts. .
