"15mm not-K'Kree and not-Zhodani?" Topic

I recently grabbed some of the RAFM not-Aslan, not-Vargr and not-Droyne for no clear reason, and plan on grabbing a few GZG NAC hardsuit guys for Imperial Marines. I'd love to round our my not-Traveller 15s – is there anyone making something appropriate for the Horsies and the filthy mindswipes?

Actually, I believe those are the official Aslan, Vargr, and Droyne figs, and not the "not-X" figs…..

Other good choices for hardsuits from GZG include the UNSC and New Israeli troops. They also make very nice Vacc Suit troops, in case you want a little variety.

Zhodani are human, so use what you like. I think I recall some illustrations of non-spacesuit-wearing Zhodani with turbans?

Top Gun Ace – they were listed on the RAFM website with oddball names, but a little digging implies that they are indeed the original Trav sculpts (which I must admit I never looked at back in the old days, as I was a dyed-in-the-wool RPGer and didn't do any minis stuff). Also, I think I said NAC hardsuits when I did indeed mean the UNSC ones you mentioned, with the classic Traveller 'battledress' helmet.

Inquisitor Thaken – Turbans are indeed the other classic Zhodani look! I'd love either 15mm guys with turbans or with the Droyne-inspired clamshell/bugeye helmets for my Zhodani. If I was doing any gaming I'd happily swap in some other human 15mm guys, but it's basically a weird nostalgia project at this point so I'd really like for them to look as Zho as possible.

The nobles wear turbans or fez. The next rank down wears a simple headband, and the normal citizenry have no rank-appropriate headgear, only job-related (which, arguably, is what the Nobles headgear is).

I'm using GZG Japanese for Zho Combat Armor troops.
