I was asked how do I make the lines stand out on my aircraft after an ink wash. Here are some before and after photos of aircraft. I take a scribe tool and etch the lines deeper on the miniature. IMHO, most etching lines are too shallow. The paint fills them up and they are longer seen. The very faint etching lines are very prevalent in Navwar miniatures. I just received some jets today and have prepped three so you can see some examples. Here are some photos of before and after shots. Remember that the etch line maybe more pronounced; the paint will soften them up a bit.
