Tried many different colours and have settled on red armour and blue weapons, I was aiming for the comic book look and feel its worked out well.. Still need to paint bits on them and have taken multiple pics of the same figs with different settings as getting the red to show the highlighting has been a nightmare Figs are 20mm Little Green men minis sold by RH Models rhmodels.com/7.html Currently painting the whole range so will post all the pics ASAP picture cheers |

I like the color. I've been thinking about doing something similar with my 15mm UNSC troops, to go with my range of grav tanks which will be released soon. The bright color is meant to be highly visible, in order to intimidate opponents, who must pass a morale check when the enemy is first visually spotted, due to their fearsome reputation. Of course, they would work well on orange colored worlds as well. So, apparently your demise was a ruse? Not surprised, really. |
