Why does that guy in the red look so angry? It's like he wants to fight or something. Well done! |

The other guy said something about his pigtails. ;-) Nice work! |

some vikings. They have to paint on their abs
(a joke) |
| GreatScot72 | 16 Nov 2009 7:59 a.m. PST |
Sheesh! My first thought when I looked at the dude in the red tunic was, "That Brendan Gleeson guy is in EVERYTHING these days!" Nice work. They look very good! Jaosn |

Nice paint job
can't wait to get mine (on order). The only quibble I have is the metal shield rims
mostly leather of rawhide at this point in time. Metal rims were quite rare. Pete |

Hi Pete – the metal rim was a painting choice. They're leather: picture |

I don't like examples like this. They don't show how nicely the sprues stack! Allen |

The guy in red looks like a fellow from the finance committe at church last night. |
| lugal hdan | 16 Nov 2009 11:30 a.m. PST |
Allen – you jest, but considering how many of us collect more quickly than we paint
. |
| Fifty4 | 16 Nov 2009 11:32 a.m. PST |
For those who haven't seen it – Allen is referring to the recent Beasts of War video review of the Vikings: link The guys at Beasts of War (along with a surprising # of people who email us) really, really, really like the fact that our sprues are built to stack on top of one another. Did I say they REALLY like this? ;-) The funny thing is that they were made that way to make them easier to go into our packaging
not really for the modeler to keep them organized. But hey, I'm not complaining!!! ;-) |

"The funny thing is that they were made that way to make them easier to go into our packaging
" And they work well for that. I just find it amusing that the video reviews repeatedly froth (but not in a Frothers way) over this feature. Especially since the sprues (hopefully) will just be recycled through Wf's recycling program. There lies the sprues' intrinsic value. The good design of the sprue "legs" only has a short lifetime. Although, as lugal hdan says, if you don't get to them soon, they may have a storage benefit as well as a shipping one. Allen |

They started talking about the sprues when they did the Zombies review – I laughed out loud when I saw he had started the Vikings review with a massive stack of the sprues! Maybe we'll start a trend. ;-) |

Memo to myself: make snapshot of sprues next time ;o) |
| StarfuryXL5 | 17 Nov 2009 11:48 p.m. PST |
Yeah. Don't bother with that painting nonsense; just show us the sprues, man! |
