Quite some time ago, I remember seeing an article about Wargames Factory plastic British riflemen converted for VSF use by replacing their Martini-Henrys with futuristic looking guns.

Does anybody else remember what I'm talking about, and know how to find the article?

It may have been an attempt to remake GW's Praetorians – link

To be honest, we probably sell more British Zulu War figures to people who use them in SF games than historical!

Here are some others:

There are loads more out there if you look around Google images a bit.

Well, I am doing all my WF Brits with Glengary caps, painting them green, and making 1887 Irish Republic soldiers as busybody interventionists in my GASLIGHT camaign out of them, so Tony knows what he is talking about. grin

I would think that GW Cadian or Catachan arms would give you the guns you need, if that is your intent.

I think that article and those photos were by Rudi Geudens in Belgium. I've forgotten his TMP handle, but if somebody else knows it, we could search topics by author name.

Not what you are looking for:

But, some good inspiration for British 1890s type uniformed with Sci/Fi guns:
