To what degree can I use SYW-era flags for my WSS-era British and Danes? I love the GMB 28mm flags, but they don't have any WSS. Anybody do Prussians and Dutch? |

Yeah, I know about the Warflag site, but they seem very lo-res. They're just 72 dpi gifs, right? They look terrible when you try to import them into Photoshop. Does he have higher-res versions? |

Pre 1707, remember that there was no 'Britih Army'. Hence the English and Scots fought under the Cross of St. George and Saltire respectively. |

Both Cotton Jim and Parade Ground Flags from the Dayton Painting Consortium carry a line of WSS flags, 15 and 28mm, to include some of the more esoteric nationalities, the Danes for sure. However, in answer to your primary question is that its going to be VERY tough to fake SYW for WSS. The only saving grace is that few people know what the WSS stuff looks like.
