Have not painted any ECW/TYW for a while but your article brought back fond memories. The blow by blow will also be handy for ancient artillery.

thanks to all! This has been a fun project. I'll post up the completed sniper set sometime this weekend. I've built a field works for the 30yrs War straight from Funken's softcover Renaissance book. I'll post it up in Renaissance Pictures section so not to offend any ECW aficionado's sensibilities. :)
