I'm looking for a site(s) that may have conversion rules for Dirtside II. I tried to search the forum for existing topics, but it times out everytime. I have recently removed all of my Mechwarrior stuff off the click bases, rebased them fairly well and am hoping I don't have to reinvent the wheel with a dirtside conversion. I have no problem tweaking, but I'd prefer not to start from scratch if I don't have to. I"m also considering using AK-47 with tweaks by weight class for Mechwarrior. I actually think it would work pretty well with faction charts and such, but I want to give DSII a honest shot. Any help is appreciated. |

DS2 has rules for walkers. Alternatively, you could count them as tanks and use the rules for tank mobility, etc. Andy Cowell's page is awesome for generating whatever vehicle you want. link |

Thanks for those
looks like I'll have to make conversion charts based on Brian Bell's work, adapt it to Dark Age and then create profiles for everything at that website. Sounds like this may take a while
I might as well build a simple webpage to house the data after to save someone else the time in the future. |

I'm interested, Freaky Dekey
I am also considering an AK-47 variant. Guess it's time for you to head down for some playtesting and beer. |

I converted a bunch of mine to WarEngine similar to Dirtside 2 in ease of play. If your interested the rules are free and I can send you what I have converted. Ray rcbecker1atbellsouth.net |
