From the 40k Wiki 'Equipment of the Imperium' ( link ) : "Space Marine Techmarines may choose to craft a suit of power armour of extraordinary quality; such suits are referred to as Artificer Armour. Artificer Armour is crafted from the finest materials and with the utmost care. Due to this attention to detail Artificer Armour provides more protection than normal power armor but does not suffer the compromise of lessened mobility, like Terminator Armour. It is often highly decorated and embellished with ornamentation and devotional scripts. Most Techmarines wear Artificer Armour of their own crafting; it's construction a final test of their acquired skills following their tutelage under the Adeptus Mechanicus on Mars. Artificer Armour is kept in the Chapter Armoury as a reward for devoted service by a veteran marine, or as standard equipment for specialized position in the chapter. In-game Artificer armour is available to any model with access to the armory." Seems to me that Artificer Armor is just like typical SM Powered Armor. Such armor can be noted on the table by the addition of decorations- so just add bitz. That might work for you.
The reason you probably don't see these straight up with GW or Forge World is because you can easily make one from all the bitz you can get with the SM Boxes you buy. Hope that helps. |

I have several all bitzed up Space Marines. In games they become Artificer Armor when I account for them in points cost. Though in my Black Templars Army the model High Marshal Helbrecht is listed in the BT Codex as having Artificer Armor. The metal model "Emperor's Champion" is in the codex as having Artificer Armor. Black Templar Castellan Draco in his rules is listed as having Artificer Armor. Good luck in finding the model and rules. I don't think Artificer Armor was on any of the packaging. That is all I can think of right now. |

Look for Blood Angels character models – they are good examples of artificer armor. |

you can also show it by painting the armor in ways that show its importance, like detailing it like the Sistine Chapel's ceiling, or the Ultramarine Land Raider with the temple styling (not sure if it's shown in the codex, or just the WD article on it
) |

The level of detail probably isn't too important, as long as it's sufficiently blinged-up relative to the rest of the men. If they're all dripping in skulls, purity seals and chains, paint him gold. That usually works. |
