I have finished the first of eight Front Rank French artillery limbers circa 1805-06 and have posted some pictures on my blog:

If you want more information about the limbers, then follow the Front Rank link below:

My artillery battery will be 6 or 7 models using a 1:10 ratio and 28mm figures for my 1806 project.

Please take a look, click the pix to enlarge the view, and feel free to leave a comment on my blog.

How long are the limbers with the 4 horses, but without the cannon attached? Will they fit on a 50x80 mm base.

They look quite nice.

Nice job.

I think that 50mm by 150mm would be the minimum sized stand that you would need without the cannon attached. Per my measurement a few minutes ago.

Thanks-very nice! When I painted my 1801 French in Egypt army I used Foundry French Rev. gunners and guns with Minifig limbers and Spanish limber riders with bicornes.

Very nice. Wanting some of those myself. Was hoping to hang on till the Caisson was out too, but will probable jump before the VAT increase.

You could purchase the horse teams separately and buy the caisson from either Essex or Hinchcliffe and match them up.

BTW, the caisson team pictured in my blog is from Essex.
