Those are nice. I'm not sure they feel very neo-soviet to me I would have probably gone for the copplestone figures for that.

Having said that they are really nicely painted I like them.

Wow. Very nice. I like the camouflage colours you chose. they blend well with the arid background but I bet they'd blend well with vegetation too.

Thanks guys – always supportive here! Prince R. – good point and they do, of course, look very 'Soviet' but the guy who commissioned me wanted a more futuristic looking force in opposition to a force based on GW's Cadians and Space Marine AFV's. After looking at a few miniatures we 'plumped' for these as special forces and PI's greatcoated Kolony as regular troops. Both forces are very generic and I believe he'll game using his own rules.
Not having to defer to a particular company's doctrine has allowed us to select the troops from various companies (eg. GW, PI, Incursion) and also to add a few extra vehicles (GW, Old Crow, At-43 and even a 15mm GZG unmanned drone and Halo Warthog).
The Neo-Soviet forces, so far, are gathered on a very repetetive (sorry – still to be edited)slideshow on my blog or here…
