My usual scenario fare – this time set during the Great Italian Wars. Bit of background, deployment notes and 'table' map, scenario notes and lots and lots of pics of the thing all set up.

James, your armies and terrain are superb. Your time and attention to detail in all aspects is evident. I noticed while admiring your pictures that the farm building was a northern European structure. I also game the Italian Renaissance in 28 mm. I can not seem to find any buildings suitable for Italy in this scale. Is this a gap that needs to be filled, or are you aware of a manufacturer who makes Italianate buildings? I also admired your tents in the French camp. Can you tell me who makes these?

sfumatoabacus, thank you for your kind words.

I sold my Italian Wars buildings some years ago. I've not got round to making new ones, though I have the pantile roof sections stashed away somewhere (plastic HO scale for model railways). If you want to buy buildings for Italy look at those made for the Peninsular War – pantiles! Most Med' buildings follow a similar pattern and there are some nice ones out there.

The tents are home made card and paper efforts.

James.
