Anyone read these? Comment on their appropriateness for a young teen? Jim |

I read the first 2 and enjoyed them. I really don't recall anything that would be inappropriate for teens. (Provided that your standards for book burning are normal-I live in Cobb County GA, where Evolution is an option). Mark |

Thanks, Mark. O n an unrelated note, once again, your 6mm terrain presentation is the standard for the hobby. Jim |

I have read them all and like them. However, you should be aware they are quite dark. In the first book a good friend of hero gets blown up in a car and burns to death. In the second his girlfriend gets raped by the villians. There is alot of murder and death. So for teens, that is up to you to decide. |

Thanks, Inkpaduta. It is exactly the rape sort of thing I was hoping to avoid; plenty of time for such exposure later. I think for now I'll avoid the second book. Jim |

One minor detail that rang false for me; Billy flies from the U.S. to London and is picked up at the airport by someone in a jeep who drives him to his office in London. A jeep trip? To pick up a single soldier? Maybe, but more like a long slow bus connection I would have thought. |
