Ok, I need lots of cheap flok, 40mm frences, and something to make rouad of. To make road I was thinknig of putting some scenic cement on my terrain cloth, with green in the middel and on the side, while brown in the tracks, that way I can make the road just the right size. |

For roads, some people seem to get good results by using decorators caulk (brown) spread onto a material strip. Track marks can be scratched into the caulk before it dries. |

Rememeber in the AWI to leave the center green stripe out of your roads, as that is where many single harnessed horses pulling carts, wagons, etc would walk. |

Thanks for the tip about not doing the stripe in the middel of the road. But nobody knows were to get 40mm fences and or stone walls? |

Sash and Saber do stone and wooden rail fences in 40mm, but if you aren't in the states your best option would probably be to make them. |

Thanks, they should have made it's own section for senics and terrein stuff at S&S I'm going to order figs from there anyway, so I might as well order some fences from there to |

Lemex fences (worm split rail) are available at All the King's Men Toy Soldiers. You can see them here: link For roads I have done both coffee grounds dried out and spread where the road should be. Also Wide masking tape sprayed with texture paint from any craft store. I prefer a mixture of sand and coffee groups other materials. At the end of the game I just vacuum it up before folding the maps. VR James Mattes |

Wouldn't 54mm be to big for 40mm? |
