My French mate Greg has painted the Bruttian veteran minis we need for the Carthaginian third line; merci!

These came out of a discussion with various people (mostly Allen) back in September.

I will do the shields and javelins myself; I'm going to use a mix of Crusader and Aventine Scuta.

Cheers, Simon

Good going, Simon and Greg et al. For our game, we will probably need to pad out our available Carthaginians, especially the third line. I have some old random Italian types lying around somewhere, and you've given me an idea: we could incorporate them as the Bruttian contingent.

A good mix!

Hi Paul, I think that's a great idea, because Italians add a little historical flavour.

Thanks Allen; I think they will look really full of character, when they get some shields. I'm hoping to use images from Bruttian coinage on the shields. I'm sure I can finds some suitable ones from LBMS, or paint them freehand.

Cheers, Simon

Thanks Mike. Greg is fast as lightening, too; I believe he painted all of those in one day.
