Kinda thinking about going small w/a GNW project and I was wondering if anything from OG's 10mm range would work as Saxons, Russians or Swedes for the GNW. I know Pendraken makes a range, but with the army card the OG guys are pretty cheap. I figured a could make the Poles out of their Ren range. Just thinking out loud. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks. |

I knew you were going to say that. I might buy a pack or two and paint them up just to see what they look like, but I think they are probably going to be too small. |

Bog standard Marlburians will do fine for Russian and Saxon infantry and Artillery. The Swedes had turnbacks but you might get away with 7 years war figures instead. |

We do Army Packs for both Russians and Swedish for £19.00 GBP I think there's 180 foot and 15 mounted in those, I'll have to check. |

I have Swedish and Russian armies for the GNW using Old Glory 10m figs mostly. I like them just fine. No pokelems for headgear but at this scale one doesnt have to be too nitpicky. |

The 28th of June we played Poltava using PSYW Old Glory and Pendraken figures. I know not the correct uniforms but still the game looks nice. As you can see on the pictures the Russian lost the battle. We used Might & Reason rules by Sam Mustafa with some small adjustments to fit it to the GNW period. Pictures can be found here. Poltava |
