I've spent some time working up a good dirt road project to that I can turn out all the dirt roads, of various lengths and widths that I want for the various periods I need. Brushable Caulking, Kel Seal brand, 2 inch masking tape and a disposable 3" brush required. A few minutes now and then between coats, flip and 1 coat, paint wash to desired color of dirt.

Can be stored flat or rolled up on a tube or can of some sort. I've found that if you roll it up do not then store the rolled road on "edge" as it will deform the edge of the road here and there, taking some extra time when its been laid out to "uncurl".

Buildings are Victorian era brick buildings sculpted by Skrapwelder, a line he's been working on trying to perfect for a few months.

This is a nice variation of the Lloydian roads method: link

Question for you on the Kel Seal – I find my roads tend to stick to each other a little bit unless very heavily dry brushed. Is that the purpose of the Kel Seal to prevent this? Also, what is Kel seal exactly, is it some kind of household sealer or is it a hobby product?

Thanks
