Hello Which personal banner would be the correct one to use for Henry VIII in his first invasion of France; his own swallow tailed red dragon, the royal standard, cross of st. george or all of the above?!! |

There's some evidence in the painting of the Battle of the Spurs in the Royal Collection: link Henry VII is the figure in the centre on a gilt-armoured horse, accepting the surrender of a French noble. One the left is shown a St George's Cross and a gold banner, on which I cannot make out a design. Cheers Paul |
