Intriguing article. Is that intial photo – posted by the Brothers Castiglioni – supposed to be from the site itself? Hope they turn up more evidence. One dagger and some jewelry, even if dateable to the period, isn't enough. I suppose bronze should hold up pretty well in the dry conditions. |

I wonder if the American tourists even know what they've got. I have this reasonable fear that this "beautiful sword" may end up in the hands of somebody's little kid playing Conan. |
