Up at MilleniumCon in Austin over the weekend
I happened to come across Jeff Hunt (Portsmouth Miniatures)
and his line of Beefy Age of Sail minis in the Dealers room.

These ships are just Fantastic, and scale well with Uncharted Seas.
I picked up the ships Unpainted, at a great savings over painted list prices;
He seems to have only Completed ships online…His website is very primitive,
and the pics are do -not- do these minis Justice!!!

Uncompleted Kits cost:
"Triple Decker" (M004) $15- ){90-136gun= Battleship or or Flagship)
"Large Double Decker" (M003) $12-( 70-86 gun=Heavy Cruiser)
"Small Double Decker" (M002) $11-(50-68 gun=Cruiser)
I did not purchase any "Single Decker"
(presumably M001, $9-) 32-44 gun=Frigate}
I'm a big fan of Uncharted Seas Fantasy fleets,
but the Human Empire just left me cold:
enough so that I was considering dumping Uncharted Seas
and just sticking with Man 'O' War…(hard to explain, I know)
Finding these ships has absolutely got me
re-excited about painting my UnCharted Seas, and by extension;
my huge collection of 15mm Fantasy (for Armies of Arcana.
(I use 10mm/WarMaster with Man 'o' War, which is mostly Painted)
i just can't recommend these ships enough,
and Jeff Hunt is a great guy; Very much into "Age of Sail"
from a Players perspective: He's got a Great Convention "Shway",
and designed & Casts this line himself, mostly to sell at cons-
…and: NO!!! I'm not a SockPuppet,
(but if he Gave me some Miniatures, I'd sure become one!!!)
