Where in the U.S. can I find the Foundry paint brushes? I've looked a couple places, and cannot find them.
Thanks.

Only Foundry I think. I have some and they are well worth the price. Kolinsky (sp?) Sable from Vallejo are also very good brushes.

Hmmm, I was afraid of that! I saw them in the Foundry Painting Guide, and they look like damn nice brushes!

I recently bought some brushes from Foundry, they are by far the best brushes I have used. I have used plenty of expensive brushes and the most durable I have found.

I wish you could buy them in the US.

I got some Foundry brushes when I bought one of the paint sets a few years back and they were awful. Poor points and they shed fibers. Do yourself a favor and buy some quality brushes like Windsor& Newton series 7 or Rafael 8404.

I can also endorse the Windsor&Netwon series 7. I have had the same size 0 brush for nearly 12 months, and its still going strong. I exclusively paint 15mm and have no trouble getting any level of detail required (that I can manage :0))with this size.

I agree with billguy

Winsor&Newton Series 7. Yes, well worth the money and they do last a long time. Ivan.

I buy kolinsky sable brushes from Utrecht Art Supply. They are cheaper than W&N and, in my view, just as good.

I have painted over 150 28mm with one Foundry "fine detail" sable brush and still works as fine as with the first

I've used Fernando's brushes for some years now and recommend them thoroughly. Sable and inexpensive!

Kellerman; I think that fine detail brush is the best of that group, still get great service from mine!

W&N7 are excellent but a bit expensive.
I buy Rosemary and Co series 33 nowadays.
These are also hand made kolinsky sable and are almost as good as W&N7. I think they are effectively as good as W&N7 for my purposes.

This is a small cottage industry sized UK business so I don't know about postage costs to the US and I doubt very much if she/they have a US distributor.
