Hey all!

Well, part one of my four part Fall In recap is now posted at my blog!

link

Part One is all photos of games that I saw and thought would make for a good picture (and that turned out not blurry)… if anyone has any more info about any of the games pictured and they want to share, please do!

Coming up soon… the two TRUE eye candy entries: one of the two games I played this weekend, and another of the game I ran!

Please come on by and take a look!

Your 10mm Napoleonics look really impressive.

Hey!

Ahh! I don't have photos up yet of it… the only nappies on the page are Sam Mustafa's 15mms. Did you stop by and see the game?

how are your 10mm Nappies based?

Lord Ashram,

Nice pictures! I read in your blog that one of your pet peeves is gnomes. Your post is about nice looking games and the gnome game was one of the best looking set-ups and well attended events at Fall In.

At least he puts some effort into his conventions.

I have to admit, the gnome bit is something of a joke; just a nod to the historical purist aspect of the convention. It is indeed always a good looking game.

I've seen quite a few good looking tables that used largely felt to designate fields, rivers, roads and forests. We can't all be professional railroad modelers or landscape architects.

At the other end of the spectrum, Dave Bonk's American Rev terrain looks pretty spiffy.

Thanks for the report. I could not make Fall In this year.
Looking forward to Part II.

Nice Pictures.

The last one was a WWII Atlantic Wall game. I played that one on Friday night and had a good time. Lots of troops and landing craft, a nice table, a fun group of players, and the GM's did a nice job explaining things.

I think the GM's did a repeat game on Saturday as well.

Ah thanks for the info!

Working on Part 2 tonight… lots of eye candy coming with that one!

Hey all!

Part Two is up, and is chock FULL of pretty nice eye candy… please do come by, take a look, and share your thoughts about aspects of Fall In that DON'T involve Lancaster!:D

Oh, and I added a new poll, so please come by and vote!

Sorry, I meant to say which two games I put on the blog today…

First up, lots of pictures from Dave Bonks 40mm AWI game.

Second, a few from Sam Mustafa's Lasalle demo.

So please do come by and share your thoughts!

The ACW photo near the end labeled, "Here is another 15mm ACW game that looked nice" is of my Prairie Grove, Arkansas (7 December 1862) game from Friday night. The scenario covers the eastern half of the battle where Union Brig. Gen. Herron attacks the Confederate position on the woods covered hill with two small divisions before Blunt arrives with his larger "Kansas" division further to the west.

Last month I visited the state park in Arkansas and tried to incorporate all that I had learned to recreate the historical battlefield. I plan to run Blunt's attack at Cold Wars.
