I have been painting up some 28mm Saxons and would like at some point to refight the battle of Hastings. I am looking for a rule set that is both historical and fun to play. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

"Medieval Warfare by Terry Gore"
I only bought the damn thing cos it was cheap in the Foundry sale -now I'm getting Saxons and Vikings together.
Wars of the Roses will kick off when the Perry stuff comes out and there are the first indications of Irish and Welsh forces being put together.
Good rules.
I also use the Crusader set- they're fun.

I just ordered "Medieval Warfare" by Terry Gore. After reading the reviews this looks like the set of rules for Hastings.
