I recently got a 36 12mm dice in a see-through plastic box (measures 42x42x64mm) and was wondering if there were any companies out there who sold the box (without any dice) separately, just so I can tidy up all the dice I have lying around |

I don't know about the availability of those boxes, but I have used clear plastic boxes that are meant for cards to store dice in. |

cigar boxes, checkbook boxes both work quite well and are readily available for free (more or less). |

I see you are in the UK, so The Container Store is probably not an option. For plastic boxes, try a fablic or craft store. A container for embrodery thread might work. Or, do like I do and use Altoids tins. My dice never smelled so nice! David |

I saw some of those plastic boxes at my flgs. They sell a lot of different dice singly so the boxes may have come from their purchases. Im in the US. I mention this because your flgs may have excess boxes they would sell. Cant hurt to ask. |

I find these are excellent – you can get from rymans or similar stationery outlets, even QD occassionally – quite cheap and click-lock closed. The little ones are quite tiny link |

I have the kind of box used for screws, washers etc. It's about the size of a laptop bag, and has 15 boxes (5 double sized) plus a section the length of it. This carries EVERYTHING- a box each for 12mm Red, white and black d6, another of other d6, polyhedrals in another, and one for non standard dice (deviation die, Peter Pig 'My Choice' dice etc)4 for tiddlywinks (red, blue, green, yellow), plus one for 'microdice). It also has a couple of small note pads, Ikea pencilsm small pack of cards, lots of coins saved from 'Pirates' to use as countmarkers, skull markers from GW/MB Battle masters, pens (ing OHP) glue sticks, tape measure, sticky dots, some card (business card sized), markers for 'Kiss Me Hardy', 'Perfect Captain' battleboard cards, 2p coins with card suits stuck on, and a pack of cards to replace the chits in Dirtside'. (I intend to review this- stuff gets cycled in and out depending on what I'm doing, then stays there until it needs to make space). £8.00 GBP from Aldi (about £20.00 GBP in B&Q) |

I Use small wooden boxes of a kind you get from 3rd world craft shops such as Shared Earth etc. Stylish and strong. |

Sgt Lee Your post came up when searching for the dice boxes. I know how hard it is to find these with a search engine.. I did come upon this website which does sell dice boxes for 16mm and 12mm dice, without the dice. link so far this is the only source that I have found. (without dice) others may be interested in these for figgures. BTW I am not affilated with dicepool. |
