A batch of older dwarven personalities – including the dwarf on stilts – has been released by GW as a set of of adventurers.

The Chaos Zombie Ninja Dwarf, Samurai Dwarf and Ratcatcher are in there as well.

Pirazzo's Lost Legion figures, the elementals and several dragons from that the 86-87 time frame are also available:

thank you for the info!

They've had these available for a year or so, so I thought they'd do some more, but none have been available to this point. I'd still like to get some of the older monsters, like the jabberwock.

I had a whole collection of strangeness from Citadel like that in the 80's…

The Hippie Druid giving the peace-sign and smelling a flower (with a decapitated head hanging off his belt.)

The Dwarf with an Inferiority complex on stilts.

The Complete Adventurer (whose pack was loaded with 3x his size in weapons and supplies and even had a kitchen sink strapped to it.)

I also recall a gnome wolf-rider that was hanging on for dear life…

awww shucks

I have most of those dwarfs in my "rainy day" pile… so their value just dropped…

and of the other dogs of war stuff, the one thing i'd really like is a handful of birdmen of catrazza (but not at ebay prices) and they haven't re-released those…

Thanks, made me just notice this.

I wish is came with the rider, and cavalry.

Bloody hell I remember when stuff like the dwarves where 5 for £2.50 GBP or the dragon in the link above was £10.00 GBP and came with a rider. inflation I guess.

I still have that earth elemental he stands in as a behmoth in my dwarf HOTT army.

I have a lot of the yellow-backed "Monster" blisters, like the Jabberwock and etc. The Complete Adventurer figure is still in my "to do" pile after all these years picture

I think I have about half of the dragons. While it definitely kills the value of the old figures, I wasn't really planning on selling them. And, I have always wanted the elementals…

Those dwarves are great. They have been available for at least a couple of years. There are some other nifty old figures in the collector's and bitz areas of the website. Unfortunately, not as many as their used to be in the big catalogs that they discontinued a couple of years back. You can still get those neat little chaos familiars, including what we have always called the "traveling spell book".

A thread with a happy ending!

Still no Chaos Toilet though.

Mardaddy06 Nov 2009 5:34 p.m. PST

Not so happy after all, then.

That traveling spell book would look good alongside the Discworld Miniatures Luggage.

chronoglide07 Nov 2009 5:41 p.m. PST

that is some mad pricing…..i remember when those elementals were £2.50 GBP a pop….i bought them on Ebay a while ago, painted pretty nicely i might add, and all four of them, sourced seperately, set me back less than a tenner with postage….

IronMike07 Nov 2009 8:01 p.m. PST

Booyah! Now I'll actually be able to buy them, now that I'm a grownup and have money…

Dremel Man08 Nov 2009 6:44 p.m. PST

Surprised the Dragons are as inexpensive as they are.
They could have easily charged "collectors" prices, but just charged a small premium it appears.

The Dwarves are a little steep however…but you either want them, or don't…
