Any one knows why things are so slow from Great Britain. On the 18th last month I ordered from Scotia Grendel. On the 27th I got a mail that my order had been despatched. It has not arrived yet (to Sweden in Europe).

Appearantly it took Scotia 9 days to pack my order, no big deal. But that I haven´t gotten it yet. It has been 11 days since it was shipped…

I´ve heard about strikes in the Royal mail, can that have affected the time?

I´m waiting and waiting…

Ummm…well, if postal workers are striking, the mail isn't moving (or at least isn't moving as fast)…I would think that would affect how long it takes for the mail to get somewhere…

allow 2 weeks for shipping, all the things I send to the states normally take no more than 2 weeks.

Oddly I'm also having problems on that front – an order posted on the 19th in the UK hasn't arrived with the customer in Sweden yet…. (I also have orders to Italy and South Africa AWOL, but neither of those is really unusual enough to be worthy of comment….)

Yeah we've had strikes and it has caused disrtuption. For instance, I know that Hasslefree has certainly experienced delays. Other companies probably have too. Maybe Scotia Grendel is one of them. But as of today the disputes have been resolved and the strikes have ended, so if parcels were held up they should soon be on their way.

The backlog is massive, in the millions, so id be suprised if its back to normal for a bit.

Thanks. I was beginning to wonder about an order I placed with another manufacturer in the UK.

I've got several parcels on the way from the UK. Give them some time.

I had an email from Scotia apologising as he had been quite seriously ill. Normal service has apparently now been resumed.
