It's been a heavy week for WWI related stuff what with Remembrance Sunday coming up.

•I posted a review of Band of Brigands, about the first tanks and the men that rode them into battle [ link ]
•On Sunday I posted a review of 4th Edition D&D… yes I know it's a year old but my group have been playing it long enough now to have a real feel for the pros & cons of this game [ link ]
•On Wednesday I wrote about how to stage a Riot in a roleplaying game, but thinking about it this guide might also be useful for running an Urban Skirmish game under the same circumstances [ link ]
•I also reported on the progress of a fund to secure Siegfried Sassoon's papers. I also talked about a radio broadcast I heard discussing his Soldiers Declaration [ link ]
•Yesterday I wrote about Guy Fawkes and the Gunpowder Plot. The ‘what if' scenarios are endless [ link ]

Yet again I have done little actual painting. It's been a busy (and stressful) week and all I've really found time for is a little light reading my copy if WI and other magazines.
