Folks, A colleague at work is looking to create a Scifi graphic novel / book and is looking for website groups and any conventions or meetings (Lincolnshire area). He is not that keen on Manga style but more gritty and dark styles. Can anyone here advise where to go? Andrew blog.kings-sleep.me.uk |

I'm looking to hire a graphic artist with that style as well. Anybody know of one? That is open for a project? |

There are a lot of different "manga" styles, including those that are very dark and gritty eg. Tsutomu Nihei. Better to name an artist whose style is similar to what he wants. |

There is a comics convention/festival in Leeds on 19th-22nd Nov if that's any interest to him. It's called Thought Bubble thoughtbubblefestival.com |
