Ok
.finally dug this outta garage
the non-chrome Jupiter II kit by Polar Lights
got the realistic pilot chairs vs the 'bench' seats in kit
looks to be HO? scale figures
. I've seen the decals for the interior to help with more 'color' and the lighting core for engine
but was told there was an 'HO' Robinson's family with robot at one time???? Anybody got any ideas/info on this???? Slishfully, Sgt DWW-btod |

dunno about actual Robinsons but you can probably find suitable HO figs at your FLTS (train store) good luck. |

I find the larger 15mm figures to be a good fit with HO scale model kits. Try GZG. |

The Johnny Lighting sets have a perfect Landing Pod and Chariot for that kit. As for figures, I would suggest the old Aurora UFO kit crew. They are about 1/72nd scale, perhaps a bit smaller. It includes one woman that makes a good Judy or Mrs. Robinson. Then go to your local train shop and get a couple kids. As for the robot, you may be doomed. I have never found anything even close. Perhaps cobble something together from some 15 mm robots. I never heard the PL kit had a crew or robot. The Forbidden Planet set is supposed to be re-released with a crew and Robby but no idea as to the side. Mike "Bunkermeister" Creek bunkermeister.blogspot.com |

There was a set of figures made for the Polar Lights J2. I remember seeing it in Fine Scale Modeling shortly after the J2 was originally released. It was of the 2 men and the robot by some small company. Unfortunately by the time I got around to building my J2 I was unable to find the company again. Nor did I ever see them advertised again. |

Flying Frets did a full crew set about 5 years ago – The Robinsons, Major West, Dr. Smith, and the Robot. From all accounts, they were *very* nicely done. I haven't heard of anything since then, though. |
