Just received this note from a friend in Edmonton (Nov 5th): This story about the Calgary Flames jumping the queue for H1N1 vaccinations has had a lot of negative press lately. However, I had a pretty good chuckle this morning…in today's Edmonton Sun they printed this story that started with this opening line: "The Calgary Flames are getting a lot of negative press for jumping the line for H1N1 needles, but the Edmonton Oilers would rather not comment on the controversial pricks." |

The Ottawa Citizen has similar articles about how the Senators are waiting in line like everyone else. I expect there are more stories like that coming from Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver… |

I only read a brief item on the news ticker on CP24 and not a full story, but the Leafs and the Raptors got their shots too. It didn't say where, however. |
