How do Falcon, Black Hat, Chariot and Vanexia stand next to each other? I am quite forgiving with this btw, i like my usings to have big guys and little guys. Any other good ranges out there worth a look? |

Mine are mostly Old Glory – cheap and cheerful, but a little rough around the edges. The only figures I have from the manufacturers listed are a bunch of Chariot Early Libyans – and they are very nice figures, finely detailed and well proportioned (much more so than the OG figures). Cheers, Paul. |

My 15mm Bronze/Early Iron Age collection is mostly Chariot and Essex with a flat or two of Falcon. Chariot are very nice figs, well detailed, good proportions, convincing poses, a bit smaller than Essex and I don't mix them on stands. Essex are very cleanly sculpted with good detail and poses, but I wish the sculptor did curley hair for Near Eastern types. Falcon are about the same size and style as Essex, but with curley hair and beards (hooray!). Old Glory I've seen look like the biggest of all, somewhat impressionistic in style. Some Chariot foot are weak at the ankles. I often reinforce these figs with a dab of epoxy at the ankles. |

Gladiator Trojan Wars offer some figures that world work for Sea Peoples. They have the same sort of "Goblin" anatomy that the HaT 20mm plastics have, but they look good painted. They are bigger than other ranges though, close to Museum or Essex, dwarf Chariot and OG15s (at least they dwarf OG Trojan Wars). Venexia are nice, but seperate weapons and shields can induce madness. |

DBA Fanaticus had good articles on the variety of headdress among the Sea Peoples. I modelled mine with that information in mind and built a DBA army from a variety of OG 15mm Mediterrenean types. I can send you a photo if you wish. Cheers, Robert dbagora.blogspot.com |

any pics would be great, also a fanaticus link if you have it to hand. I had forgotten essex (duuh) they are generally a good addition to a mixed bag. Had also forgotten OG, the sasanians and other stuff i have of theirs are nice enough. Thanks guys |

Most of mine as well are Old Glory. For troops without shields (lights) there is a Cannite pack in the Syrian range that works too. |

Do people field sea people armies with the different "peoples" mixed up in units or as distinct units (as distinguished by their head gear). Any light weight reading which people would suggest? Don't have time to do a "proper" read atm. |

Stewbags I saw some artwork of different boats filled with Sea People. They crew in each had the same color of feathered headdress. True or artists conjecture, I do not know. But i like my units to have the same color of headgress for larger armies. For smaller DBA each stand has a different color headdress or horned. |
