Hi everyone:

I placed an order for Alien Squads Leader and Age of Might and Steel from Alternative Armies Southwest:

When I came to check-out, It didn't direct me to any payment method. However, I got a confirmation email that stated my order was received. I tried e-mailing Mike of AASW twice about payment and didn't get a reply. I also tried calling them. Are they still in business? Anyone have any info about their status?

The guy from Maryland was at Advance the Colors a month ago – you might try him…

That guy from Maryland still owes me $13 USD worth of Laserburn minis from nearly 2 years ago.
The e-mail listed on the site kept sending back my e-mails and the phone calls never got answered.
I long since gave up on getting those minis or my money.

I have ordered from Alternative Armies in England a number of times and have never had bad service or long delays getting them here in the states. Also, U.S. distributors usually charger a 2 dollars to 1 pound exchange rate. Even with the added shipping charge, you still save money ordering direct.

I am in the SE US, and have ordered from 15mmUK recently. (and currently have an order on the way from AA, prompted by a coupon I got with my last order). I have gotten good turnaround from them in the past, and excellent communication, too. I have ordered from the 15mmUK distributor in Maryland in the past, but wasn't happy with either communication or turnaround. If there was an issue with backordering, fine, it happens, but he wasn't too forthcoming on the matter. He did send me some free samples, but I have nonetheless contented myself with ordering direct since then.

I had deal with the guy in Florida who was good. Now, I just order direct and have NEVER had a problem.

Thanks,

John

Okay--I'll just assume that my order from AA southwest was invalid since I didn't pay for it and I'll order directly.

Thanks for the update.
